Text Box: Below is a brief selection of long duration time exposures of real mystery lights.  Direction of view is to the southeast (not southwest).  Even skeptics have difficulty dismissing these as car lights.

Photograph taken during shooting of "Miracle Hunders"Text Box: Time exposure captured during shooting of the TV program, "Miracle Hunters," for Discovery Channel.  Notice the small separate light track near the left end of the larger light track.  Is this an ejected component of the mystery light or simply a camera artifact?  There is no way to know for certain but I suspect the latter because the camera was repositioned immediately prior to starting this time exposure.

Dancing mystery lightsText Box: Time exposure of two or more MLs dancing in the moon light .  The initial ML this night was captured in a photograph that appears on the cover of my book, Night Orbs.  Soon after the cover photograph was made the ML split into multiple parts.  A couple of the off-spring moved off to the Northwest and traveled more than eleven miles before swinging back in the direction of the View Park and going out.  Others that remained behind moved back and forth past each other or else they were orbiting a center point as captured in this time exposure.  The faint profile of 500 foot high mesas can be seen in the background.  These MLs are moving along a sloping line that is estimated to have been about 200 to 250 feet above ground level.

mystery light spiral detailText Box: Fascinating pattern that relates to speculations as discussed in my “Night Orbs” book.  Original photograph is on the right with expanded detail shown above.  As made clear in the original, this ML was well above the terrain.  Does this look like a car light?   Some will swear that it is.

Core Element Detail showing combustion processText Box: Time exposure that reveals core element in mystery light fireball.  To observers this looked like a sphere of light moving left to right.  Original is on the right with expanded version shown below.  One 'True non-believer' tried to explain away this image by suggesting that it is only car light perturbed by atmospherics'.   Ha! --- we report, you decide.

Does anyone really think this is a car light (incredibly, some people do)?  This ML is climbing gradually as it flies left to right reaching an estimated altitude of about 250 feet above ground level where it expands dramatically and extinguishes.  Notice the large gap.  This is a region of Mitchell Flat with no obstructions.     I speculate that mystery light visibility is produced by a combustion process (see photograph of core element above) that some times runs out of fuel causing a gap in visibility.   The hot center continued moving right in this case until it encountered more fuel enabling visibility for a short time.
